OUR Legacy

Pacific Electric was founded in 1978 by four colleagues who got their start in sales at a circuit breaker company. Frustrated with industry shortcuts, their mission when starting the company was simple: Do what you say you’re going to do. With a foundation built on truth and integrity, they began by selling switchboards and later expanded into electrical equipment. 

There was no secret formula—just hard work, hands-on experience, and a team that knew the value of learning by doing. Over the years, Pacific Electric faced its share of growing pains, but those challenges led to innovation. When contractors began tapping equipment illegally, Pacific Electric stepped in with customized solutions that utilities could stand behind—essentially creating the tap industry as it’s known today. 

With decades of experience and a reputation for doing things the right way, Pacific Electric continues to grow, proudly offering reliable, purpose-driven work for clients across the industry.
