THE BUS MATERIAL UTILIZED FOR THESE CONNECTIONS MEET
THE U.L. REQUIREMENTS FOR BUS DENSITY AND AMERAGE
RATING BY TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE CROSS
SECTIONAL AND VOLUME FORMULAS FOR THE BUS MATERIAL
REMOVED TO ACCOMMODATE THE MOUNTING HOLES FOR
JOINT AND LUG CONNECTIONS. CALCULATIONS ARE ON FILE
FOR REVIEW UPON REQUEST.
PACIFIC ELECTRIC HAS DETERMINED THAT THIS CONNECTION
TO AN EXISTING SWITCHBOARD MEETS U.L. 891 REQUIREMENTS, HOWEVER THE AHJ MAY REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL FIELD EVALUATION BY U.L. OR OTHER ACCEPTABLE NRTL.
PLEASE NOTE:
THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO PROPERLY TIGHTEN
ALL BOLTS AND LUG CONNECTIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE TORQUE LABEL PROVIDED.
YOU MAY ALSO BE ASKED TO PROVIDE A LETTER TO THE
INSPECTION AUTHORITIES CERTIFYING THE ABOVE BEFORE
THE BUILDING INSPECTOR WILL APPROVE THIS INSTALLATION.
NOTE: ACCEPTANCE IS ALWAYS WITH THE AUTHORITY
HAVING JURISDICTION.
